Summary
Literature of the native land is one of the sections of the curriculum in Ukrainian literature, designed to involve students-readers in the literary heritage of the region. The author's composition of the program, its content provide opportunities for the formation of literary and key competencies and reading culture of students. The democratic organization of the program is aimed at creative cooperation, the dialogue of the teacher, the student with the work of art, the author, gives a wide space for the perception of literature as a phenomenon of art. The program is recommended for use in grades 5-10 of general secondary education institutions.
