Summary

Building a European democratic space requires individuals capable of national identity, a stable, civic stance. Therefore, the issue of the formation of such personalities among students today is an important area of the educational process in general. It is known that the program of each subject provides four cross-cutting lines, one of which is civil responsibility’, which involves the formation of a responsible member of the society capable of understanding the principles and mechanisms of its functioning, as well as the importance of the national initiative, the ability to be responsible for their own lives and actions. The list of key competencies is social and civic. The latter is the basis for the formation of civic responsibility. When preparing for a modern lesson, in particular Ukrainian literature, the requirements of a competent approach need to be taken into account. The possibilities of realization of them are proposed to be considered on the example of the regional literary and artistic texts of the young poet Sashka Obriya (the real name is Alexander Kucherenko). It is shown that the author of this work represents Mykolayiv oblast throughout Ukraine. Since September 2017 he lives in Kyiv and publishes his poetry collections there. It is stressed that his poems can be a material for conducting lessons of the native land literature in the upper classes, especially for the organization of the collective activities - working in groups on the creation of projects, the organization of mini-studies, literary and linguistic observations, etc., which is one of the most important requirements for the implementation cross-cutting line «Civil Responsibility». Conclusions are drawn that collective work is an effective means of forming the ability to choose the optimal solution for the task in order to satisfy both the personal and the interests of other members of the society.
