Summary

The article explores Natural sciences teachers’ methods, skills, abilities to extrapolate methods of nature cognition (observation, measurement, experiment) in teaching Physics, Chemistry, Biology. To do this, the teachers’ level qualifiations in the experimental group were determined before and after the study as for all categories of the study. The diffrences in their qualifiation before and after the study were also clarifid and compared. A system of measures for In-Service teachers training has been proposed to increase the qualifiation levels of Physics, Chemistry and Biology teachers for observation, measurement, and experimentation. The components of the system are covered in detail: course period (interactive lectures, study tours, workshops, training, competence-activity and variable modules, practice, internships), intercourse (creative groups, studio «Science and We», intellectual competitions for students). To confim the reliability of the research results, the method of mathematical processing of statistics results, Pearson’s criterio, χ2 was used. The results are substantiated, the conclusions and prospects of further explorations in the considered direction are indicated.
