Summary
The theses substantiate the special importance of digital competence as a priority in the XXI century. Ways of development and improvement of information and communicative competences of Ukrainian language teachers in the conditions of realization of the concept of the New Ukrainian school are revealed: work with media texts, use of modern digital technologies, observance of principles of academic integrity, infomedia literacy.
