Summary
The article substantiates the process of formation of civic competence by means of cooperative learning. The essence and content of cooperative learning in the educational space are defined and characterized. The basic principles that most effectively contribute to the formation of civic competence are analyzed. An interactive exercise that helps to form civic competence through cooperative learning is considered.
