Summary
The author analyzes sources (normative and scientific) development and development of a competent approach in Ukraine. The concept and model of the components of the competent graduate-reader in accordance with the ideas of the New Ukrainian School, the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education and model programs of the educational language and literary industry have been developed. The typological classification of the literary lesson, which is consistent with competent, active and personally oriented strategies, is presented. The educational and methodological manual is a logical continuation of the series of publications "Forming a competent reader of the New Ukrainian School".
