Summary

The article considers the possibilities of postgraduate education in improving the professional competencies of educators of preschool education institutions. Definitions of departmental research and pedagogical conditions of increase of professional competence on formation of a holistic picture of the world at children of preschool age taking into account educational reforms are offered. Society needs a creative, competent, innovative teacher of preschool education, who seeks to constantly improve their professional competencies, as it must meet the needs of citizens in obtaining preschool education for children. A model of increasing professional competencies by educators of preschool education institutions in the conditions of postgraduate education is designed. In the departmental research the author of the publication offers the main definitions: professional competence of a teacher to increase the professional competence of a teacher, formation of a holistic picture of the world, holistic picture of the world of a child of senior preschool and primary school age. The author also formulated the pedagogical conditions that were created at the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary Education in order to increase the professional competence of preschool and primary school teachers: readiness of teachers and methodologists of the department for innovative activities, priority of educational technologies; formation of methodical environment and professional interaction with students, their involvement in collective and group innovative forms of methodical work; formation of a flexible system of continuing education for primary school teachers and preschool teachers; creation of digital information and educational resources with equal access of all teachers to them in order to exchange pedagogical experience and educational information at the regional and national levels. To perform the departmental research, the author of the publication designed a model of increasing professional competence in the formation of a holistic picture of the world in preschool children
