Summary

The article analyzes the content aspects of the competence approach to teaching literature with the use of booktrailer to attract students to reading. The competence of the student as the main indicator of the quality of educational outcomes is formed. Changes in the field of pedagogical purposes cause the need for changes in the content of school education through the level of the subject, the educational material, the level of interaction between the teacher and the student. The study of Ukrainian literature with the use of a mass media product - a booktrailer represents a coexistence of knowledge on subject disciplines and practical skills on the basis of microprocessor technology. The task of the teacher is to interest students in the subject of literature through the creation of an educational environment, taking into account their individual abilities. The author, from the point of view of didactic purposes, emphasizes the need for changes in the content of education through the level of the subject, the educational material, through the interaction of the teacher and the student. The booktrailer becomes a cult intellectual means for motivating students, their will to become literary and informational competent. Effective learning is possible only if such organization is created, which takes into account the specifics of teaching the subject.
