Summary

In the guide, we offer a model for evaluating schoolchildren's reading achievements, our own approach to evaluation. The model complies with the recommendations on the evaluation of training results (Order of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Ukraine dated August 2, 2024, No. 1053). For the first time in the system of literary education, types and evaluations are included in the model. The level model of literary competence of students-readers is singled out. An author's version of the criteria for evaluating educational achievements according to groups of learning outcomes has been developed. The types of tasks by groups of learning outcomes are presented: the literary component. A speech constructor for competence literary exercises: questions, tasks, problems is offered. A typology of final papers and their approximate distribution from Ukrainian and foreign literature (according to the educational programs of Tamil Yatsenko and Olga Nikolenko) has been developed. Some samples of final works are presented. The manual will be useful for practicing teachers and future philologists. The material was tested and developed as a result of the cooperation of creative groups of philologists and methodologists of the OIPPO of Mykolaiv Region, Poltava Region, and Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
