Summary
Highlighting effective practices of national-patriotic education of preschoolers based on the ideas of the nationwide course "Culture of Good Neighborliness" by means of the program and methodological kit for the regional partial program "Ukrainian Wreath. Mykolaiv Region" The specified course has been implemented in the Mykolaiv region since 2019. This is a unique development of Ukrainian scientists and educators, which was created in the early 2000s under the leadership of M. A. Arajioni, candidate of historical sciences, leading researcher at the A. Yu. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies of the NAS of Ukraine. For preschool children, the feeling of patriotism begins with love for their native land. Therefore, the formation of patriotic feelings should be based on regional content. Since 2023, the participants of the creative group “Culture of Good Neighborliness in the Preschool and Primary Educational System” under the scientific supervision of L. M. Oliynyk, candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors, associate professors of the Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary Education of the Ukrainian State Educational and Scientific Institute of Primary Education, have been creating methodological and didactic support for the regional partial program “Ukrainian Wreath. Mykolaiv Region”. In Ukraine, the culture of good neighborliness is especially relevant in the context of such modern challenges as war, economic instability and social polarization. The development of a culture of good neighborliness can help Ukrainians overcome these challenges, create a peaceful, just and developed society.
