THE CURRENT STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL OF PROFESSOR NILA VOLOSHYNA (TO THE SCIENTIST'S ANNIVERSARY)

Summary
At the current stage of development of Ukrainian pedagogical science, the issue of scientific schools, which are founded around outstanding scientists, acquires special importance. Each outstanding figure leaves their mark in science, their ideas, and their followers, which becomes a source of further development of the corresponding scientific discipline. Continuity in scientific explorations is of great importance; therefore, a scientific school lives and works even after the departure of its founder. The scientific school of Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Literature of Ukraine Nila Yosypivna Voloshyna (1940–2010), which was formed for a long time, at the current stage of development of literary education in Ukraine occupies a prominent place among other scientific schools in the methodology of teaching literature. This is due primarily to the personality of the person who was the founder and driving force behind the development of this scientific school. The life path of Nila Yosypivna Voloshyna was connected with education. A bright personality and an outstanding scientist rallied around herself and her scientific research scientists from different regions of our country, which led to the spread of the ideas of the outstanding methodologist, their creative adaptation to the regional features of literary education. An important stage in the formation of the scientific school of Professor N.Y. Voloshyna was the publication of the innovative manual for that time, «Scientific Foundations of Literary Methodology» (2002), which armed methodologists and teachers during the reform of literary education. Currently, there is a need to clarify the leading features of the scientific school of N. Y. Voloshyna and its influence on the current state of literature teaching methods. The article examines the specifics of the scientific school of Professor N. Y. Voloshyna, its most prominent representatives. It traces how the followers of Professor N. Y. Voloshyna developed her ideas, creatively adapted them to modern conditions of literary education. It also describes how scientists belonging to the scientific school of Professor N. Y. Voloshyna (A. L. Sytcheno, V. I. Shulyar, V. V. Gladyshev) honour her memory and promote the ideas of the outstanding methodologist.
