FORMATION OF JUNIOR PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENT’S PERSONALITY IN THE CONDITIONS OF ARTISTIC ACTIVITY

Summary

In the methodological article the reasons for possible loss of moral and ethical values of an individual are pointed out. The formula for the perception of the holistic picture of the world by a junior primary school student through art in accordance with the conceptual provisions of the New Ukrainian School is proposed. The role of emotions in the formation of a schoolchild is determined and the phenomenon of emotions as a value is emphasised, which is reflected in bioenergetic attractiveness of children, its cultural content and inner harmony. The possibilities of musical art in the process of development of: morally and psychologically valuable qualities of primary school students; musical subject knowledge (knowledge of musical literacy; diction and pronunciation; empathy, imagination, thinking) and general cultural competences; socialisation skills are presented. The peculiarities of the influence of fine arts on primary school students are revealed, which consist in the formation of: a healthy moral basis; respect for work; humane attitude towards the environment, nature and people; desire to comprehend the philosophy of being; knowledge of their inner world; the necessary competences to generate their world view. The role of puppet theatre in the process of education of moral and ethical qualities, speaking and social skills; formation of emotional intelligence, psycho-intellectual hygiene of primary school students is analysed. The peculiarities of using musical, visual, and theatrical arts in accordance with the activity approach are determined. The logic of the formation of the value orientations of a primary school student’s personality in the conditions of artistic activity is highlighted. The art-therapeutic value of the synthesis of the fine arts, music, puppet theatre in the development and maturation of the personality of the junior primary school student is emphasised.
